  • 1The DC DC converter can be used with Rebelcell 12V thru 36V batteries with a working voltage between 8V and 42V. Never use if the voltage of your battery is outside of these parameters, as this may lead to irreversible damage to your converter.
  • 2Pay attention to the polarity when connecting to your battery (+ wire to the + of the battery and – wire to the – of the battery). Reversing polarity may damage your converter and your equipment and will void  the warranty.
  • 3Only connect to 12V equipment with a power consumption of less than 25A. If you connect equipment that draws more power you will damage the converter.
  • 4Mount the DC DC converter in accordance with the installation guidelines in a dry and cool place with sufficient space around for ventilation and cooling. Never mount it on the bottom of your boat or in a location that does not remain dry. Never install or place the DC DC Converter  on the battery. It can become very hot and damage your battery.
  • 5Additional cables (not included) are required to connect the DC DC converter to the input (Rebelcell battery) and to the output (12V equipment). For specifications please see the Installation guidelines in the user manual and consult a certified electrician if you have any questions about installation.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION REBELCELL DC DC CONVERTER 12V25A WATERPROOF

The DC DC Converter 12V25A converts the voltage of your battery (DC input voltage range 8-42V) to a stable DC output voltage of 12.4V (max 25A). This enables you to use all voltages of Rebelcell batteries (from 12V AV to 36V) to power 12V (electronic) equipment (e.g. marine electronics, (multiple) depth sounders) that require a stable 12V output or have a different operating voltage range than your battery. This ensures trouble-free operation and can increase the runtime of your equipment.

You can for example power your 12V echo sounders off a 24V or 36V Rebelcell battery or connect multiple echo sounders to your Rebelcell battery via the DC DC converter 12V25A avoiding the need for an additional battery for your equipment.

Note: This 12.4V25A DC DC converter is suitable for use with Rebelcell batteries (from 12VAV to 36V70).  The DC DC converter 12V25A is not suitable  to charge batteries. Please check out the information on the Range Extender if you want to charge your battery via the alternator of your outboard engine.
